Clinical Supervision
Supervision is provided by Christine Senediak, Director of Clinical Supervision Services (CSS) and the Sydney Family Therapy Training Institute (SFTTI). Christine consults widely with government and non-government organisations and has extensive experience providing individual, group, and team-based supervision across a range of service settings. With over 40 years' experience in clinical supervision, Christine has developed an integrative and evidence-based supervisory approach, drawing on her psychology background and incorporating cognitive behavioural therapy, mindfulness-based practices, and systemic–relational–developmental family therapy models. A strong emphasis is placed on the self of the therapist, reflective and reflexive practice, and the collaborative setting of personalised professional development goals. Christine's supervision style is engaging and supervisee-directed, and is designed to strengthen self-awareness, critical reflection, and clinical skill development when working with families. She has particular expertise in cross-cultural mental health, alcohol and other drug services, family support, school-based settings, and child and adolescent inpatient and outpatient mental health services. Christine holds a Master of Family Therapy (M. Fam. Ther.) and a Multigenerational Family Therapy Certification (MGFT), completed at the Accademia di Psicoterapia della Famiglia, Rome.
Currently supervision is provided to teams such as:
