Systemic Supervision: Methods, Approaches and Tools

1-day workshop in Singapore

Workshop for existing supervisors (open to psychologists, counsellors, nurses, social workers, allied health professionals).

This experiential workshop focuses on the application of systemic principles in supervision and clinical practice, utilising reflective and reflexive supervision skills.

Participants will develop reflective practice and questioning skills relevant to various case presentations and workplace issues.

• Learn how to conduct a supervision session utilising a multigenerational family of origin approach to better understand and work with client strengths and resources.
• Integrate concepts of the ‘Use of Self ‘and systemic theory within a competency-based clinical supervision context.
• Help your supervisees identify feelings, emotions and experiences that enhance therapeutic attunement and professional self-care.

Competency Based Supervision Workshop

2-day workshop in Singapore 

THIS WORKSHOP IS NOW FULL

• This interactive workshop provides participants with a thorough understanding of the principles and practice of effective clinical supervision. You will learn how to set up and conduct effective and supportive supervision, learn how to give feedback and evaluate supervision incorporating best practice standards and reflective practice. Participants will benefit from the opportunity to discuss case scenarios reviewing ethical challenges and how to manage, support and promote supervisee self-care.
   
• The training is suitable for allied health professionals, social workers, psychologists and clinicians working within counselling and/or healthcare provider roles. Professionals working in mental health, paediatric, child, adolescent, adult and aged care are suited to attend this course. Previous participants have included those working in private practice, community health, hospitals, in-patient units and NGO services.

Certificate of Attainment in Clinical Supervision

Comprehensive certificate course which includes 2-day workshop in Singapore.
Successful completion of this course provides participants with the Certificate of Attainment in Clinical Supervision (52 hours).

THIS WORKSHOP IS NOW FULL

The aim of this course is to provide a framework for conducting and evaluating effective clinical supervision using a competency-based framework incorporating reflective practice. Participants will develop the necessary skills for setting up a rewarding clinical supervision relationship to enhance supervisee learning and skill development, considering the systemic issues of their workplace/team and client group.

How the course is structured (52 hours):

Part 1: Pre-Workshop Supervision Workbook with self-assessment and learning tasks (36 hours)

Part 2: 2-day Interactive skills based workshop (14 hours)

Part 3: Post-Workshop 2-hour Supervision Group Session (2 hours)
