PsyBA Supervisor Full Training
Psychologists wanting to become PsyBA approved supervisors need to complete Supervisor Full Training, consisting of three components completed in sequence (Part 1, Part 2 & Part 3). Once all three components are successfully completed, participants can apply for supervisor accreditation effective for 5 years.

Part 1: Online Course PLUS
Part 2: 2-day skills based workshop (currently offered via interactive videoconferencing) PLUS
Part 3: Assessment of Competency
2024 Early bird fee: $995.00 AUD
2024 Standard fee: $1250.00 AUD
Who is eligible?
To register for Supervisor Training Part 1, you must have held general registration for at least 2.5 years. Psychologists wishing to undertake supervisor training must meet the eligibility criteria for PsyBA approval. Further information is available on the Psychology Board of Australia website
Supervisors must hold endorsement in the approved area of practice for a minimum of 2 years to be eligible to supervise registrars for endorsement.
Supervisor Training Part 1:
Online Knowledge Assessment
Part 1 requires successful completion of a 10 hour E-Learning Course relating to best-practice supervision and knowledge of relevant Psychology Board codes, guidelines and policies. Part 1 must be completed (pass grade 80%) BEFORE Part 2.

Supervisor Training Part 2:
Skills Training Workshop
Part 2 is a 2-day online workshop focusing on integrating knowledge and practical skills. It requires direct/live training to develop practical supervision skills that are relevant to all supervisee training pathways and to reflective supervision practice.
Offered within the Full Supervisor Training Package ($995.00 early bird)

Supervisor Training Part 3:
Assessment of Competency
Part 3 requires you to submit an electronic recording of a supervision session and a written reflection of the session. The training provider will systematically assess your demonstration of supervisor competencies and provide a pass or fail grade and feedback. Not available as a standalone option.
Offered within the Full Supervisor Training Package ($995.00 early bird) and is not available as a standalone option.

Please note: AHPRA has approved Supervisor Training Workshops and Master Classes for both videoconferencing and face-to-face delivery until 31st December 2028. Delivery mode is indicated on each event and on the Training Dates page. Most workshops are currently delivered via Zoom videoconferencing.
