This E-Learning Course is offered as either 6 stand-alone modules or as a discounted course combining all 6 modules. Each module provides a theoretical overview of family therapy practice guidelines and an introduction to contemporary family therapy models. Modules include self-directed learning tasks, readings, quizzes and access to online video examples. Each module is equivalent to 10 CPD hours (total 60 CPD hours for all 6 modules).

Relationship & Couples Therapy

This E-Learning Course will provide participants with a solid understanding of a number of different models and approaches to working with couples, review challenges of working with couples and provide ideas and structured exercises to enhance your knowledge and skills in working with couples who present with relationship difficulties. The course provides readings, webinars, online teaching videos and self-reflective learning tasks. The online course is equivalent to 10 CPD hours of professional development. On completion of the course you will receive a Certificate of Completion for 10 hours of study.

Child and Adolescent Mental Health
COST: $550.00 AUD
This E-Learning Course comprises 6 self-paced online study modules and is suitable for health and welfare professionals working in, or interested in working in, the field of child and adolescent mental health. The course is equivalent to 60 hours CPD when all units are completed and multiple-choice self-assessment tasks are passed. A Certificate of Completion can be downloaded on successful completion of the online assessment tasks. It is most relevant to psychologists, social workers, mental health nurses, youth workers, school counsellors, teachers and child and youth counsellors.

Understanding Domestic Violence
COST: $110.00 AUD
This E-Learning Course comprises 4 self-paced online study modules and is suitable for all health and welfare professionals who work with clients experiencing domestic violence, either incidentally or in an ongoing therapeutic setting, who are wanting to deepen their understanding of this complex area. This will include nurses, social workers, occupational therapists, speech pathologists, art therapists, music therapists, clergy and NGO workers.
Course content includes:
- Dynamics of domestic violence
- Impacts on adult and child victims
- Understanding and responding to domestic violence
- Ways of working effectively with adult victims to acknowledge strengths while appreciating risks.
The modules include videos, reflective tasks and online readings. Participants will develop a solid foundation upon which to build more advanced therapeutic skills.
