PsyBA Approved Supervisor Training: Part 1 (Online Knowledge Assessment)

Psychologists wanting to become Psychology Board of Australia (PsyBA) approved supervisors need to complete Supervisor Full Training, consisting of three components completed in sequence (Part 1, Part 2 & Part 3). Once all three components are successfully completed, participants can apply for supervisor accreditation effective for 5 years. Participants are advised to consult the PsyBA Supervisor Training requirements prior to enrolling.
 

Part 1 - Standalone Enrolment:

Please note this enrolment option does NOT include Part 2 or Part 3 of training. 

Students enrolling in the Full Training Package should NOT enrol in this standalone option.

Part 1 (Online Knowledge Assessment) requires 8-10 hours of self-directed preparatory work relating to knowledge of best-practice supervision and knowledge of relevant Board codes, guidelines and policies.

The Online Knowledge Assessment is accessed via secure login on the CSS website. The course includes reading relevant material provided online, completing self-directed learning tasks, reflection of practice and a multiple choice assessment test.
Completion of Part 1 requires passing the online assessment with a minimum 80% pass grade. 

On successful completion of the assessment, you will be issued with a certificate for Part 1 of PsyBA Supervisor Full Training.
